2018 Review: The Jaguar F-Type
For a practical yet sexy sportscar, the F-Type is definitely among our favorites this year. We found the driving to be a bit stiff and not quite on the same level as some other sportscars, but it did impress nonetheless.
In our review we take a closer look at how we experienced every aspect of Jaguar’s new F-Type. We can safely say that it is the sexiest and most practical model yet. Let’s take a closer look.
1. Introduction to the F-Type
It’s coupe counterpart does remind us a lot of a sexy and modern take on the E-Type, where the hard top looks a bit sleeker and with the times. The F-Type has undergone a couple of revisions and upgrades, and we are thankful for all of them. All the upgrades improved the performance and driver’s experience.
2. Driver’s Impression
With a modified suspension and stronger chassis, the hard-top F-Type can offer an exhilarating driving experience. We found the balance to be enhanced, giving it even more power. Whatever you budget, you’ll be able to choose an F-Type to your liking. This includes engine, gearbox, transmissions and so on. Any of the specs are a pleasure to drive, which means you can’t go wrong if you decide on getting one of your own!
3. Interior to Die For
For a supercar the interior is luxurious and cozy. And what more would you expect from Jaguar? The hard top’s interior is a bit more luxurious than that of the convertible’s, but it is still quite impressive and comfy. The bigger boot space now allows you to pack your overnight bag or some shopping, making it perfect for driving around in town.
4. Conclusion
We adore the F-Type. It’s sleek, sexy and reminds us of yesteryear when the E-Type came out. The driving experience is on par with other supercars, but it still does not come close to the Porsche 911 Carrera. For an everyday sportscar, you can’t go wrong if you get one of these that’s for sure.
There you have it. The F-Type impressed us with a great driving experience, sexy interior and specifically notable improvement in tech and other specs. We believe the recent upgrades to the F-Type has made it one of the best hard-top sportscars to come from Jaguar to date!
The coupe is however our favorite, and perhaps a better option than the convertible. With the added boot space and luxurious interior, you won’t have anything holding you back when going on that weekend getaway!
